Job Overview
You will be responsible for assembling and disassembling assembly parts, using tools and equipment to perform operations in an industrial setting. You will make a difference by being a team player and having great listening and communication skills.
Responsibilities- Assist in daily 5S and cleaning procedures.
- Assist others in obtaining solutions to quality and production issues.
- Other duties as may be required or assigned.
- Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes.
- Work with electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.
- Maintain assembly and test equipment as required.
- Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, and crane as required.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
- Ability to work first shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Ability to use tools and equipment needed to perform assembly operations in an industrial setting.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Team player.
- Hourly rate $19.00+ per hour.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
EnvironmentThe employee regularly works in an indoor manufacturing environment exposed to production activities including machinery, assembly operations, overhead crane usage, and forklift traffic. Personal protective equipment is required.
Mental DemandsThe employee is regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information, and documents; analyze and solve problems; use math and mathematical reasoning; observe and interpret situations; learn and apply new information or skills; and interact with other employees, customers, and vendors.
