** Propulsion Manufacturing Manager (Level K)
** to join our  
** PSC (Propulsion South Carolina)
** team in  
** North Charleston, SC** . This is a  
** variable shift
** position.

* Position Responsibilities:

*
* + Cultivates a culture of excellence (effective communication, teaming process, high quality connections, trust & respect, collaboration, clear roles, adaptability, conflict management, accountability etc.) within multiple PSC production systems, including the 737

MAX Inlet, B-52 Nacelles, and the PSC Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MR&O) services

+ Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

+ Manages, develops, and motivates employees

+ Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives

+ Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers, and proactively leads process improvements

+ Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, factory support and direct reports

+ Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

+ Mentors and coaches teammates across the site in the art of winning together and personal/professional development

+ Navigates through complexity and ambiguity

+ Leads through influence and works across functions & organizations

+ Uses business acumen to know when to lead via engagement vs. requirement/policy to ensure safety/quality

** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*
* + 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support

+ 3+ years of experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams

+ 3+ years of experience in management working with direct reports

+ 1+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives

+ Willingness to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

+ Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"

** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*
* + Bachelor's degree or higher in Manufacturing or Operations

+ 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment, leading teams  - 1

+ 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data - 1

+ 3+ years of experience using Lean Manufacturing System
