Grinding Room Technician / Shop Laborer

Hiring Grinding Room Technicians / Shop Laborers to finish and prepare copper castings in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Grind, sand, and polish castings to remove excess material
• Use grinders, belt sanders, and saws to finish parts
• Cut gates and risers from castings
• Inspect parts for defects and quality
• Move and handle castings using carts or hoists
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements:

• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to operate grinders, sanders, and saws
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear PPE
• Comfortable with physical work and standing for long periods

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Abbeville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.50 - $15.50/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
