Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education. We are actively searching for Packaging Assemblers to produce quality medical instruments in accordance with Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. procedures in a safe and effective manner to exceed customers’ needs. This role is for the night shift (Monday‑Thursday, 7:30 pm‑6 am). A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Clean Room Assembler – Nights

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform manual and fixture‑assisted device assembly and packaging on medical device components, kits, convenience packs and/or any clean‑room specific device assembly as assigned.
  • Place components onto blister trays and die‑cut restraints.
  • Apply labels onto packaging constructs.
  • Perform supplemental label application, blister loading, pouch and blister sealing and visual seal inspection.
  • Load and orient unit devices into unit packages and/or automated equipment.
  • Perform daily cleaning, monthly terminal cleaning and semi‑annual terminal cleaning activities in the clean room.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing experience related to assembly and/or packaging of products preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience related to the technical and mechanical aspects of manufacturing, including operation of packaging equipment, is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Training
  • Read, understand and follow work instructions.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Work independently when necessary.
  • Determine materials and tools required to perform the operation.
  • Perform different tasks required to manufacture the product as instructed.
  • Basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Outlook is a plus.
Machine, Tools, and Equipment Skills

Comprehension required for operating label dispensers, heat sealers, weighing scales, crimping machines, arbor presses, Tygon tube cutters, wire cutters, small hand tools, fixtures and any clean‑room specific equipment as assigned.

Reasoning, Mathematical, and Communication Skills

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form; comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required; communicate ideas and issues effectively to team members and management; write and record data as required.

Physical Demands
  • Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 pounds frequently, or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Work involves walking, standing, pushing, pulling of arm/leg controls, and may be seated for some tasks.
  • Physical demands exceed those for sedentary work.
Vision Requirements

Visual acuity necessary to perform the job safely and effectively; close vision required.

The environment is representative of typical conditions encountered while performing the essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
