Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated C9 Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating multiple components of the C9 line, including the face station, liner station, rewinder, and extruder. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production, maintain product quality, follow safety protocols, and perform routine equipment monitoring and adjustments.
Shift6:00 p.m.
- 6:30 a.m Sunday - Saturday Rotating Shifts
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret production specs, work orders, and safety instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Prior experience with coating, laminating, or extrusion equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Operate face and liner stations to apply adhesive coatings and lamination according to job specifications.
- Run and monitor the extruder, ensuring proper temperature, pressure, and flow rates are maintained.
- Set up and operate the rewinder, maintaining correct tension, alignment, and cut lengths per production requirements.
- Perform routine start-up, run-time, and shutdown procedures for each section of the line.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules to meet quality and efficiency goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues and elevate significant problems to maintenance or supervision.
- Monitor product quality, complete in-process checks and ensure all specifications are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.
- Complete accurate production documentation and inventory reporting.
- Communicate effectively with team members across shifts to ensure consistent line operation.
- Physical Requirements:
Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 75+ lbs., Standing up to 8+ hours a day, twisting, bending, squatting, and varying temperatures. - Work Authorization:
