Day and Night shift positions available!

Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM

Night

Shift: Monday
-Friday 4:30PM - 3:00 AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • CNC Swiss Machinist experience or an overall tendency towards mechanically driven careers
  • Work from and follow process specifications, travelers, blueprints, rework/rejection tags, work instruction, relevant process controls, and verbal/written instruction.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
  • Ensure quality standards / inspection plan are completed / meet for the completed machine operation.
  • Edit program as required to compensate for tool wear and machine operation in order to continually produce parts within tolerance.
  • Remove flashing, burrs, and sharp edges from workpiece and perform other additional operations at CNC work center that will reduce shop flow.
  • Required to maintain cutting tool inserts and replace/repair tools as necessary to assure machine operation.
  • Other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
Key Roles
  • Set up and run Swiss turn machines - Tsugami
  • Ability to adjust program and tooling to maximize quality and efficiency and perform complex setups
  • Independently perform inspection; train and mentor as required
  • Cares for parts in accordance with procedures (Corrosion Protection/Handling/ FOD)
Education & Experience Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and a minimum one to three years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.
  • Ability to perform statistical process control input and interpret statistical data to compensate for machining deviation. Ability to perform mathematical calculations on fractions, percentages, decimals, and machine speeds/feeds.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
  • May be required to train and assist other employees.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; and regularly required to stand; handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
