Clendenin Lumber Co., located in Donalds SC is a leading manufacturer of hardwood lumber. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our growing team as a Log Yard Technician. The position's primary responsibilities include operating a front-end loader and knuckle boom to unload and load trucks as well as grading/scaling logs per company guidelines.

• Operate a front-end loader and knuckle boom to unload/load trucks.
• Grade and scale logs per company guidelines.
• Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Operate handheld data recording device.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.

• Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Chainsaw operation.
• Scaling, trimming and preparing logs.
• Operating handheld data recording device.
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with working in a team-based environment.

• Prefer a candidate with previous experience as an equipment operator either in a log yard environment or at a logging operation.
• Must be self motivated and organized.
• Willingness to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment.
• Must maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license.

• Pay is dependent on experience.
