Basic
Job Functions:
- Stage the Batch Anneal pre-inventory
- Create base loads for the shop
- Load/unload the bases
- Assistance and participation in overall shop equipment maintenance
Able to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Overhead Crane Operator
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Batch Anneal crane operations and shop planning
- Cab crane operating experience
- Knowledge of Entec system
