Tool Room Technician 2nd Shift

Phillips Staffing is now hiring for a 2nd Shift Tool Room Technician for a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC! We are seeking motivated individuals who able to work productively in a medium-to-fast paced environment.

• Able to assist with mold maintenance with supervision
• Introduction/Understanding of basic tools and use
• Introduction/Understanding of operating manual Tool Room Equipment
• Able to make minor repairs to die cast tooling with supervision
• Introduction/Understanding of intermediate blue print reading
• Introduction of intermediate skills of trouble shooting die cast tooling problems in production
• Introduction/Understanding basic functions of die casting machines
• Required to have tool box and personal tools for class C work load
• Able to lift and handle up to 75 pounds
• Maintain attendance according to company policy
• Able to work overtime if needed, including weekend & holidays

• Must be self-motivated
• Must be productive with the ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work Overtime, as required
• Must follow the dress code:
  Required to wear safety glasses and steel toed boots, plant wide.
