Light Industrial - Sheet Metal Mechanic
As the Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, fastener layouts, fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing various sheet metal and structural assemblies and sub-assemblies for F16 aircraft utilizing precision measuring equipment.
The Production Structures/Assembler, F16 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft structural assembly operation and maintenance to include:
- Precision drilling/reaming
- Riveting/installing various fasteners
- Countersinking/part trimming
- Hands‑on production structures build‑up of fuselage components
Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift. First shift:
Mon‑Thurs 6:00 am–4:30 pm. Second shift:
Mon‑Thurs 4:30 pm–3:00 am. Must be able to start 6/29/2026; there will not be another start class until 8/24. Possible weekend shift (Thursday–Sunday) 6:00 am–4:30 pm.
Tools required: 6+ years of recent precision drilling or sheet metal experience on aircraft
