Job Overview
This position will help coordinate and organize production process methods and engineering activities that enable production. This includes sustaining engineering, new product launch processes and continuous improvement activities. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining production processes to drive quality and efficiency and for developing manufacturing plans that improve operational competitiveness.

- Understand and articulate basic lean principles.
- Coach Team Leads and other employees on lean principles such as MDI, 5S, standard work, and waste reduction.
- Identify improvement activities and execute them to completion.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to gain buy‑in and support for change initiatives.
- Use data‑driven approaches to measure performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management.
- Train others on the creation of line layouts, work instructions, processes, Apriso usage, and setup.
- Create fixtures and tooling as needed.
- Use computer systems for document creation (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Create and edit documents in AutoCAD, CREO, and Inventor.
- Teach others on new software for torque tool setup and document visualization.
- Read and understand part prints, CAD models, and provide feedback to design engineering, management, or peers.
- Implement 5S across multiple workstations.
- Possess basic knowledge of process flow, PFMEA, control plan, DFAM, and manufacturing readiness tracking.
- Minimum of 8 years of prior relative experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (4‑year degree) or equivalent experience.
- Proactive, results‑oriented, and adaptable to change.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $29.50 (hourly). Compensation is tailored to factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
