OT Systems Engineer

Join the OT Systems team supporting a beverage manufacturing facility in Columbia, SC. You'll help keep the plant's automation and operational technology systems running while partnering with the team on troubleshooting, system improvements, and projects.

This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. Some days you'll solve production issues on the plant floor; others you'll work on upgrades and projects that make the plant run better. It's a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys learning new technology and solving problems.

• Support and troubleshoot OT systems, including MES, OEE, PLC, SCADA and HMI platforms.
• Provide hands‑on support to the automation team and help resolve production issues, with escalation paths to senior engineers.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to prevent future issues.
• Support system upgrades and plant‑requested changes.
• Work across both legacy and modern manufacturing systems.
• Partner with operations and plant teams to explain technical issues in clear, easy‑to‑understand language.
• Balance project work with day‑to‑day production support.

• 1–4 years of experience in controls, OT, automation, IT or engineering within manufacturing.
• Exposure to PLCs, SCADA, HMI or similar control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work hands‑on, on the plant floor, in a production environment.
• Able to communicate technical information in simple terms.

• Experience with MES, OEE or other manufacturing systems.
• Exposure to OT/IT infrastructure or systems integration.
