What You'll Do- Develop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with CMC standards
- Lead and manage the melting and refining operations, optimizing productivity and ensuring seamless production processes
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of EAF and LF equipment, minimizing downtime and disruptions
- Coordinate with Casting area and other departments to minimize downtime and maximize production of quality products
- Develop and lead a culture of continuous improvement through operator training, process standardization, and technology improvements
- Identify opportunities, collaborate and implement changes to improve manufacturing processes and reduce cost
- Maintain CMC's quality standards, while utilizing all necessary safety measures, plant equipment, and other tools
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a steel manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations within the steel industry
- Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and leadership skills including the ability to interact with personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and understand business imperatives
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
- Bachelor's degree in Engineeringor related field
