Lead Fabricator (Working Lead)

Richburg, SC Full-Time Are you an experienced welder and fabricator ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a hands-on Lead Fabricator to support daily shop operations, guide team members, and help ensure quality fabrication work is completed safely and on schedule.

Perform hands-on fabrication, welding, and modification of metal forms and components Coordinate daily work assignments for fabrication team members Review shop drawings and blueprints for accuracy before production Ensure work meets quality standards, specifications, and production timelines Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and help identify solutions Support training and development of less experienced team members Operate fabrication equipment including welding machines, saws, shears, and drill presses Assist with material planning and communicate supply needs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements

4+ years of fabrication and welding experience in a manufacturing environment Strong blueprint and shop drawing interpretation skills Proficient stick welding experience required Experience using oxy-acetylene torches and fabrication equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities Ability to accurately measure, read a tape measure, and perform basic calculations Experience helping guide workflow and support team members Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
