The Role
We are seeking
Electrical Switchboard Assemblers
to join our clients manufacturing team in Heathwood.
You will be involved in the assembly of switchboards & control panels.
This role suits tradespeople or experienced trade assistants who are hands-on, detail-focused, and experienced in control wiring and the assembly of wiring harnesses within a switchboard manufacturing environment.
The Role- Assemble electrical wiring harnesses
- Build electrical component panels
- Terminate cabling to drawing and specification
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives - Maintain WH&S standards at all times
- Switchboard assembly in a manufacturing or workshop environment
- Minimum 1-2 years of switchboard assembly experience in a professional manufacturing or workshop environment
- Assembly of wiring harnesses, installation, and component mounting
- Control wiring and meter panel wiring
- Modular and welded switchboard construction
- Interpreting electrical schematics, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams
- Working to Australian Standards and best manufacturing practices
- A strong focus on quality, neat workmanship, and right-first-time builds
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- High safety awareness and disciplined work habits
- A practical, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and improve
Completed electrical trade qualification is preferred but not essential for this role.
