Printer Operator

** is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager  
** printer operator
** to join their growing team!

The  
** printer operator
** is responsible for safely operating printing equipment, performing quality inspections, completing setup and changeovers, and ensuring products meet company specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, quality-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

** Responsibilities*
* + Safely operate printing equipment while producing quality products that meet company specifications.

+ Verify proper setup of printing equipment before production begins.

+ Ensure all required tools are available and in good working condition (per Group 7 Tool List).

+ Perform label design changeovers and equipment setups as needed.

+ Conduct routine quality control checks throughout the production process.

+ Audit printer applications to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

+ Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions to supervision immediately.

+ Analyze production spoilage, document causes, and implement corrective actions when applicable.

+ Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks on equipment.

+ Follow all SOPs, work instructions, and production standards.

+ Ensure all machine guards, safety devices, and protective equipment are in place and functioning properly.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

+ Collaborate effectively with team members while demonstrating the ability to work independently.

** Qualifications*
* + 2-4 years of manufacturing or production experience required.

+ Strong commitment to workplace safety and product quality.

+ Ability to identify quality defects and make necessary adjustments.

+ Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to follow written procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

+ Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.

** Pay Details:**  $14.00 per hour
