Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Electro-Mechanic to join our Maintenance department. This critical role provides essential manufacturing support by maintaining, troubleshooting, and streamlining manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized individual with excellent computer skills, a strong understanding of safety standards, and a proven track record in a manufacturing maintenance environment. This position offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development.
Perform strong electrical troubleshooting on controls, drives, relays, contractors, and PLC systems. Utilize PLC knowledge for diagnostics and, preferably, programming. Apply mechanical expertise to maintain and repair gearboxes, bearings, cylinders, shafts, pumps, mixers, and wrapping machines. Read and accurately interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and service manuals. Work with automation systems, including HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), Robotics, and palletizers/packaging systems. Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to strict safety standards in an industrial setting.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement equipment improvements for enhanced efficiency and reliability. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Be available to work other shifts and overtime as needed to support manufacturing operations. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Required
Work Experience:
3-5 years of related electro-mechanical experience. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance role. Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read technical drawings and proficiently operate standard tools and equipment. Strong understanding and adherence to safety standards in an industrial setting. Excellent computer skills. Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree or Higher in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Experience with welding and machining.
Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
