Chemical Operator-Rotating Shift work

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Chemical Production Operator for a contract role in Martin, SC.

Rotating 12-hour swing shifts:
Day

Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Night

Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Rotation Pattern:2,,2,3,2-days for 2 weeks2,2,3,2-nights for 2 weeks

We are seeking a Chemical Manufacturing Production Operator to support manufacturing operations by performing production, packaging, material handling, and compliance-related tasks in a regulated environment. This role requires strong attention to safety, quality, and procedure adherence in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing setting.

• Perform production operations according to established procedures and protocols
• Execute packaging operations based on current production guidelines
• Transport chemicals and equipment using pumps, piping systems, forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies
• Ensure product quality and quantity throughout all stages of production
• Wear required PPE, including full-face respirators, gloves, protective suits, and other safety gear
• Clean equipment and work areas after production activities
• Handle waste disposal in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Complete required documentation, including batch records and logbooks
• Communicate production status and report any equipment or process deviations to supervision
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and operational policies
• Identify and respond to unsafe conditions appropriately
• Participate in required safety and quality training sessions
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in life sciences preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical production environment (1–2 years preferred for AA candidates)
• Forklift experience required

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
