Overview

Position Overview

Under the direct supervision of the Packaging Supervisor or Team Lead, this entry-level position is responsible for performing basic packaging operations in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Key duties include inspecting,check-weighing, labeling, and packing finished products to ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.

Specific Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Safely and efficientlyassistwith all bottle packaging line equipment, including the labeler, bottle hopper,capper, and bundler.
• Assemble cartons, apply labels to cartons and shippers, and verify accuracy against the work order.
• Pack finished products while inspecting proper lot numbers, labels, caps, neck bands, and other quality criteria.
• Perform rework asrequiredand verify that all components are correct.
• Work efficiently to improve process reliability and minimize line downtime.
• Crosstrain and provide supportinother departments to meet business needs.
• Assistin training and mentoring new employees as needed.

Quality Assurance

• Verify all components, labels, and packaging against work orders.
• Inspect finished goods for proper lot numbers, caps, and neck bands.
• Perform rework and ensure all corrective actions meet quality standards.

Cleaning & Housekeeping

• Clean tooling, machinery, and conveyors after each run, including hoses, brushes, vibrators, and catch pans.
• Maintain general housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment always; promptly report any safety concerns, accidents, or injuries to a supervisor.

Safety & Compliance

• Understand andcomply withall GMP and FDA regulations, including gowning practices.
• Understand and adhere to all Company policies, procedures, SOPs, and Safety regulations.
• Promptly report any safety concerns, accidents, or injuries.

General Responsibilities

• Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation.
• Requires regular attendance to perform essentialelementascontainedhereinbetween the assigned start and end times for work.
• Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

Education,Experience, and Licenses

• High School Diploma or Equivalent OR passingIVCReading Comprehensionassessment
• 3-6 months manufacturing experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP or FDA) preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Strong work ethic, professionalapproachand ownership of line production performance.
• Ability to read andcomprehendSOP’s, Batch Records and training documents
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to understand basic math
• Strong work ethics,positiveattitudeand willingness to learn and develop new skills are a requirement.
• Teamplayer;workswell with others.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
