Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour. General Laborer Shift
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 6:45AM – 3:30PM Temporary (4 to 6 weeks) Encadria Staffing Solutions places employees at Georgia-Pacific Facilities and many other Koch companies across the country. - Perform general cleaning duties by using variety of equipment, including brooms, mops, air hoses, shovels, and industrial vacuums to prevent fire and respiratory hazards
- Dust and wipe down machines and other surfaces inside building
- Safely and efficiently working in a fast-paced, industrial environment that is hot, cold, humid, and noisy and may include working around dust, oil, grease, chemical and other substances
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
- Adhere to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Continuous use of a company-provided respirator mask
- Dust and wipe down machines and other surfaces
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test
- Willing and able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping) with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, noisy, and dusty industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Previous experience in manufacturing or custodial cleaning and painting preferred
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Possess at least 6 months manufacturing experience or have done comparable work in a comparable work environment that includes but is not limited to: farming, agriculture, landscaping, carpentry, mechanical, construction.
