Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

We’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Technician for a client located in Pendleton, SC.

In this role, you’ll inspect, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and replace worn or improperly set components on waterjet weaving machines and auxiliary equipment. You’ll play an important part in maintaining equipment performance, product quality, and a safe production environment.

• Follow all general plant safety rules, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Operate equipment and tools safely and responsibly.
• Support department production goals and priorities.
• Follow established policies, procedures, job specifications, and maintenance standards.
• Troubleshoot and identify machine problems and determine appropriate corrective action.
• Perform Daily Team Maintenance (DTM) activities.
• Audit safety items within the department.
• Set weaving machines to the proper machine specifications and ensure equipment operates according to style specifications.
• Disassemble and reassemble weaving machines and related equipment.
• Inspect equipment for worn, damaged, or improperly adjusted parts.
• Replace worn parts and make necessary mechanical adjustments.
• Monitor machine performance and fabric quality.
• Complete required maintenance reports and computer data entry.

• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and priorities.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and classify machine problems.

• Willingness to learn textile machinery and maintenance processes.

• Waterjet weaving machines
• Wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and vice grips
• Tape measures, hammers, and punches
• Take-up equipment and machine parts
• Lockout equipment, including locks, flags, and tags
• Computers and maintenance reporting systems
• Air hoses
• Reed hooks and scissors
• Performance charts and gauges
• Oil, soap, shop towels, adhesives/Loctite, and related maintenance supplies
• Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Required personal protective equipment, including safety goggles, hearing protection, and steel-toe safety shoes

Shift: 1st Shift 8 hours Mon-Friday

Pay: $19.97 to $22.62 DOE
