Laser Operator

Location: Arcadia

Laser Programmer - 1st Shift (Arcadia, SC area) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Laser Programmer We are seeking an experienced Laser Programmer to support our fabrication and manufacturing operations. This position will develop and maintain CNC laser programs for accurate, efficient sheet metal cutting while meeting production schedules and quality standards. Contract to hire arrangement already in place Drug test is required

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain CNC laser programs from engineering drawings and job specifications Interpret mechanical drawings and create machine ready programs Optimize nesting and cutting paths to maximize material utilization and minimize scrap Maintain program libraries and related documentation Troubleshoot programming and processing issues with engineering and production teams Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and safety Qualifications 3 to 5 years of CNC laser programming experience Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes Proficiency reading mechanical drawings and blueprints

Experience with nesting software and material optimization Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming systems Working knowledge of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast paced manufacturing environment

Education:

Technical degree preferred, high school diploma required with relevant experience.
