Position: TOOL MAKER/SKILLED MACHINIST
Location: Abbeville

Tool making:inspect,measure, troubleshoot adjust/modify processes (machinery and tooling) to maintain quality and production standards.verify and confirm tooling blue prints education:high school diploma or ged
10 years of tool & die/ machinist experience experienced workng with close tolerances,machining,grinding,jig boring, lathe turning , milling machinesskillsgood working knowledge of caliper s,micrometers, as well as other measuring device sable to read blueprints and work in english and metric unitsable to operate lathes,mills,vertical /horizontal saws,surface grinders,drill presses all to close tolerances physical requirements:able to lft up to 50lbs sometime sable to stand ,bend, reach and stoopyou should be proficient in:high school / gedshop math skills blueprint reading machines & technologies you'll use:cnc mill (3-4 axis vmc) (mazak, haas, bridgeport) surface grinder2d drawings manual lathe thread gauges (go/no-go) cnc lathe (2-4 axis) (mazak, haas) manual vertical mill (bridgeport) measurement gaugescnc mill (5+ axis vmc) calipers and micrometers horizontal machining center (3-4 axis) machine
