As a Content Marketer at GoBright you play a crucial role in developing and implementing content marketing strategies. You are responsible for creating engaging content, such as articles, case stories, newsletters, whitepapers, that improve our authority in the market and encourages audience engagement.

As an Event Marketeer at GoBright, you play a crucial role in bringing our brand to life through memorable experiences. You are responsible for the complete organisation and execution from conventions we participate in, trade shows, webinars to internal gatherings and team events. Together with your marketing colleague’s, you ensure that every event strengthens our position in the smart office market and creates lasting connections with our audience.

The job requires someone who is available 0.8–1.0 FTE (32–40 hours).

You will manage the entire event journey—from concept and planning to execution and evaluation. This includes coordinating our presence at international trade shows, organising webinars and customer events, and ensuring all event communication aligns perfectly with our brand and marketing objectives. You will be part of the Marketing Team (3 people) and work closely together with the Sales Team and external partners.

Hard

Skills:

  • Event management: 3–5 years of experience in organising and coordinating events, trade shows, and webinars from concept to execution.
  • Project management: Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining quality.
  • Communication campaigns: Experience developing integrated campaigns around events, both online and offline.
  • Content creation: Strong writing skills for event-related content including invitations, newsletters, social media posts, and press releases.
  • Digital tools: Experience with event platforms (e.g., Webinar Geek), email marketing tools (Brevo/Sendin Blue), and project management software.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to evaluate event performance and translate insights into concrete improvements.
  • Design affinity: Experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or Figma is a strong advantage.
Soft Skills (Personal Attributes):
  • Organisational talent: Exceptional planning skills with strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Creative thinking: Ability to develop event concepts that create lasting impressions and align with marketing objectives.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in both Dutch and English for internal and international stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Skilled at working with internal teams, external suppliers, stand builders, and other partners.
  • Problem-solving: Quick thinking and adaptability to handle unexpected challenges during event execution.
  • Proactive attitude: Self-starter with strong motivation to see projects through to successful completion.
Experience and

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Event Management, Marketing, Communication)
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in B2B marketing and events is preferred
  • Affinity with technology or the workplace/smart office sector is a plus
