Medicaid Program Specialist

• Conduct market research supporting product and program development, strategic planning, and market growth initiatives
• Lead implementation and evaluation of marketing projects, providing recommendations for product enhancements and performance optimization
• Oversee the Medicaid Extra Benefits Program, including vendor management, budget oversight, reporting, member escalations, compliance with SCDHHS requirements, and support for Member Services and Care Management
• Lead annual planning, program enhancements, member communications, and internal training
• Research, coordinate, manage, and implement major marketing projects
• Manage products and programs after launch or implementation, including promotional campaigns, strategic planning, and product management
• Conduct primary market research on competitors, industry, customers, trends, portfolios, product development, regulations, and related topics
• Build and maintain relationships with external companies and vendors
• Ensure activities align with strategic plans, timelines, and budgets
• Develop project plans, risk management plans, and project documentation
• Oversee project managers and test teams, including assignments, testing, and direction
• Monitor budgeted costs and delivery timelines
• Identify business requirements and support new business implementations or acquisitions
• Facilitate project missions, goals, tasks, resource requirements, service levels, and customer requirements
• Maintain stakeholder communication throughout projects
• Resolve or assist with conflicts within and between projects or functional areas
• Analyze customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction with products and processes
• Complete other tasks and projects assigned by management

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• 3 years marketing support and project coordination and implementations
• Strong knowledge of business development, strategic planning, marketing support and process improvement
• Strong knowledge of marketing principles and techniques
• Strong project planning and analytical/critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion
• Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing
