Are you a college student interested in digital marketing, communications, social media strategy, and nonprofit advocacy? South Carolina Citizens for Life—the state’s oldest and largest single-issue pro-life organization—is seeking motivated college students for a paid Digital Marketing & Communications Internship based in Columbia, South Carolina
.
This hands-on opportunity allows interns to gain real-world nonprofit marketing experience while contributing to educational outreach and advocacy efforts that protect and support vulnerable human life.

Description:
This is an on-site internship role for a Digital Marketing Intern located in Columbia, South Carolina
. The intern will assist in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, managing social media campaigns, monitoring web analytics, and supporting online marketing efforts.
Interns will also help draft communications that engage supporters and stakeholders while enhancing public awareness through various digital platforms. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in digital within a mission‑driven nonprofit organization

- Assist in developing and implementing digital marketing and outreach strategies
- Manage and support social media campaigns and digital content creation
- Monitor web analytics and track engagement metrics for marketing initiatives
- Assist with event promotion, planning, and educational outreach efforts
- Draft communications to engage supporters, stakeholders, and community partners
- Conduct research and help draft marketing and communication materials
- Create presentations, post supervised social media content, and track performance data
- Learn to use platforms like Canva, Google Workspace, Cap Cut, and donor databases
- Currently enrolled in a college/university program (college credit eligibility required)
- Proficiency in social media marketing and online marketing platforms
- Experience or familiarity with digital marketing and web analytics tools
- Passionate about the pro‑life mission and protecting vulnerable lives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office, GSuite, Canva, Cap Cut, and social media platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented, mission‑driven environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Interest in digital advocacy, nonprofit work, fundraising, public policy
- Priority consideration will be given to applicants from South Carolina.
- Ability to travel during scheduled program dates:
June 9-14, 2026 and July 24-July 31, 2026 - Ability to work on-site in Columbia, South Carolina
