OverviewThe Senior Vice President of Development and Church Relations serves as the executive leader responsible for PCSC’s fundraising strategy, church relations, and the overall direction of the PCSC Foundation. This newly created position reports to the CEO and represents a significant organizational investment in the growth, visibility, and strategic impact of philanthropy across PCSC. As a member of the core executive leadership team, the Senior Vice President provides high-level guidance for PCSC’s philanthropic initiatives, serves as the primary spokesperson for fundraising and church relations, and oversees the strategic development, alignment, and performance of the Foundation.
This role is a senior leadership position with substantial influence and strategic decision-making responsibilities focused on philanthropic priorities.
- Lead the development and implementation of PCSC’s fundraising strategy and church relations initiatives.
- Oversee the PCSC Foundation’s strategic development, alignment, and performance.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for fundraising and church relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership to advance philanthropic priorities and organizational growth.
PCSC is a compassionate Christian ministry dedicated to enriching the quality of life for seniors of all faiths. We own and operate six Life Plan retirement communities across the state. Our longstanding mission guides our work, relationships, and commitment to excellence across all communities we serve. We enjoy close, supportive relationships with the Presbyterian churches in the state and denominational affiliates.
The PCSC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable Type I organization that supports the mission of PCSC.
- Minimum five years of fundraising experience, with seven years preferred, and proven experience in charitable giving, planned giving, and capital campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree required; demonstrated experience working effectively with faith-based organizations (positive working relationships with Presbyterian Church (USA) congregations preferred).
- Professional fundraising certification (e.g., CFRE) preferred.
