Grants Coordinator

A mission-driven organization that invests in economic and community development initiatives is looking to hire a Grants Program Specialist
. They will manage the full grant lifecycle, ensuring funded projects are compliant, on track, and creating measurable impact in local communities. This is a direct hire and fully onsite position in Columbia, SC.

• Manage grants from application through project closeout.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal grant regulations and funding guidelines.
• Provide technical assistance and support to applicants and grant recipients.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support successful project implementation.
• Review reimbursement requests and project documentation.
• Track program outcomes and prepare impact and performance reports.
• Identify process improvements to enhance grant administration and accessibility.
• Communicate regularly with applicants, awardees, and partner organizations.

• 2+ years of experience in grants management, program administration, or a related field.
• Experience managing grants across the full lifecycle.
• Knowledge of federal grant compliance and reporting requirements.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Experience with federal, state, or nonprofit grant programs
