We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide top-tier anesthesia care at a community-focused hospital. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia management for a variety of cases including general, spine, vent management, and arterial line placements.
- Support a medical-directed anesthesia model with a 4:1 patient-to-provider ratio.
- Cover a wide range of procedures and patient needs, including outpatient surgery, GI, CV/TEE, MRI, and other specialties.
- Ensure high-quality care for patients aged 12 and above, with a focus on adult populations and some pediatric cases.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate anesthesia services.
- Active SC license and a clean background, with no exceptions.
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association.
- Proficient in Epic EMR system.
- Strong clinical skills in general anesthesia, spine procedures, and patient management.
Skills:
- Experience in outpatient surgical settings or rural hospital environments.
- Additional certifications or specialties related to anesthesia.
- Familiarity with complex case management or advanced airway techniques.
Education and Experience:
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program.
- Prior experience working in community hospital settings.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid SC licensure and ability to work day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Willingness to support occasional out-of-OR coverage, including GI, CV/TEE, and MRI.
- Dependable and adaptable with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
- Ability to travel if required for credentialing or temporary coverage arrangements.
