Job Title:
Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU (NSICU)
Specialty: Neuro Intensive Care Unit
Shift: Day Shift - 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse for a fast-paced NSICU environment. The ideal candidate must have strong, recent Neuro ICU experience and be comfortable managing high-acuity neurological patients.
Required Experience:
- Strong Neuro ICU experience (submission will not be considered without it)
- Experience managing:
- EVDs (External Ventricular Drains)
- Lumbar drains
- Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (SAH) patients
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
- Provide comprehensive critical care to neuro ICU patients
- Monitor and manage advanced neurological monitoring devices
- Perform detailed neurological assessments
- Collaborate with neurology and neurosurgery teams
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
