We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 10-week contract assignment in Greenville, South Carolina, serving a professional employee population in an onsite health clinic setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who enjoys patient education, preventive care, common procedures, and a steady weekday schedule without the pace of a traditional urgent care or hospital environment.

This assignment is scheduled to start at 10 weeks with potential for extension and/or permanent employment based on clinic need and fit.

This is not a typical high-volume clinic role. You will work in an onsite employee health setting focused on access, prevention, continuity, and practical care plans that help patients stay healthy and productive. The schedule offers a strong weekday rhythm with a shortened Friday making it attractive for providers who want clinical impact without evenings, weekends or holidays.

Monday–Thursday: 9-hour shifts
Friday: 4-hour shift
Estimated weekly schedule: 40 hours/week

You will provide patient-centered care across preventive health, primary care, minor acute needs, and common in-clinic procedures.

Responsibilities include:

Conduct physical exams and preventive health visits according to clinical guidelines

Evaluate and treat common acute and chronic conditions

Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care and infection management

Develop care plans, document progress, and support continuity of care

Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions

Prescribe or recommend medications, therapies, and treatment plans as appropriate

Educate patients on health maintenance, treatment plans, wellness, and follow-up care

Refer patients to physicians or specialists when clinically indicated

Collaborate with physicians, nurses and the broader care team

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic

Support and coach nursing staff on clinical best practices

Perform other clinic duties as assigned

Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in South Carolina

Active BLS through the American Heart Association

Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, occupational health, employee healthor similar outpatient setting preferred

Comfortable seeing adult patients in an onsite clinic environment

Able to perform basic procedures including injections, wound care, infection management, and suturing when needed

Comfortable using Epic or able to quickly adapt to Epic documentation

Strong patient education, clinical judgment, and communication skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and clinical team members
