** Assistant Director of Nursing**, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest standards of clinical care and regulatory compliance.###
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the DON in planning, developing, and supervising nursing staff activities Assist with the development and implementation of nursing services, objectives, policies, and procedures Partner with the DON to recruit, hire, orient, and train nursing staff Assist with employee evaluations, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions Serve as a backup to the DON and provide nursing leadership as needed Provide direct resident care when necessary Oversee daily clinical operations, conduct rounds, and monitor resident conditions Ensure resident safety and promote dignity, respect, and quality of life Serve as a liaison between residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members Attend and lead staff meetings in the DON's absence Provide reports and recommendations regarding nursing operations Assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating nursing systems that support quality care and resident rights Support staff education and ongoing in-service training programs Maintain strict confidentiality regarding residents and employees Stay informed of regulatory changes and communicate updates appropriately Assist with the overall supervision and management of nursing staff## Qualifications Active, unrestricted
** Registered Nurse (RN) license
** Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
** Must remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing 3-5 years of nurse management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with regulatory compliance and survey readiness Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with
** Point Click Care (PCC) preferred
** Ability to interpret regulations, policies, and clinical procedures##
Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, and read regularly throughout the workday Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Frequent use of office equipment including computers, phones, copiers, scanners, and fax machines Occasional travel may be required## Join Our Team!
