Advanced Practice Provider; APP NP​/PA – Structural Heart APP; PRN

Job Description Summary

MUSC Health is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Structural Heart Program on a PRN basis. The role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary cardiovascular team caring for patients with complex valvular and structural heart disease. You will support procedural and clinical care across the continuum, contributing to innovative therapies such as TAVR, Mitra Clip, and other transcatheter interventions.

• Advanced Practice Provider:
  Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Board certified and licensed (or eligible) in South Carolina
• Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, or critical care preferred
• Experience with structural heart or interventional cardiology strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment
• Strong procedural, clinical, and communication skills

• Provide PRN clinical support for the Structural Heart Program across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings
• Assist with patient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of structural heart conditions including aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation, and other complex valvular disease
• Participate in pre‑procedural workups, peri‑procedural care, and post‑procedural follow‑up for interventions such as TAVR, TEER, and LAAO
• Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, imaging specialists, and care teams
• Perform clinical assessments, documentation, and coordination of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support continuity of care through patient education, discharge planning, and follow‑up management
