HUD VASH Nurse Practitioner

Summary

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval – award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application.

Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply.

• Provides comprehensive clinical services within the HUD-VASH program.
• Delivers a full range of advanced practice care with a focus on quality, timely service delivery, and support for the mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Advanced clinical assessment, treatment, consultation, and case management for Veterans who are literally homeless or at risk of homelessness.
• Practices to the full extent of education, training, and certification.
• Core functions are outlined in the clinical privileges that correspond with this position.
• Has prescriptive authority for a panel of patients or program as indicated by their position.
