Endoscopy Registered Nurse Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
LocationSouth Carolina
ScheduleDay Shift: 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)
Job DescriptionThe Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The RN will be involved in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care and will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one care in the procedure suite, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Manage pre-operative and discharge processes, typically in a 4:1 ratio.
- Participate in weekend and week-day on-call duties as required.
- Float within the unit and between like units as necessary.
- Administer medications and IV therapy as needed.
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and EUS.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, preferably in endoscopy.
- Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
