Description:
This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.
The schedule includes three 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.Every other weekend coverage is required.
No on-call duty is anticipated.
Travelers may need to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
First-time travelers are accepted for this position.
The nurse must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications, along with NIHSS and PALS.CPI, TNCC, and NRP certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in an emergency setting.
The facility allows for one shift to be called off every two weeks.
Travellers should be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams.
Candidates with a strong skill set in emergency medications, triage, and respiratory management are encouraged to apply.
The role requires working with diverse patient age groups including neonates, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Applicants should be able to manage higher acuity patients and be familiar with equipment standard in emergency care.
