$44.50 - $54.50/hour
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, directing and evaluating direct nursing care provided to residents and patients within scope of practice. The RN coordinates care delivery to ensure that residents and patients’ needs are met in accordance with physician orders, and State and Federal laws and regulations governing long term care.
Responsibilities- Preparation, delivery, and documentation of medication/treatment(s) to residents and patients
- MDS and initial assessments
- Ability to supervise and delegate nursing staff
- Minimum six (6) months clinical experience in acute care or SNF experience as a Registered Nurse
- Currently licensed as RN to practice in the State of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Ability to perform nursing care per current community standard for long term care
- Interact effectively with residents, visitors, administration, physicians, volunteers and staff
- Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations governing Long Term Care
- Ability to read, write and speak English in a clear manner
- Ability to understand and respond appropriately to cultural diversity
