PRN / As Needed | Weekend Coverage | Minimum 4 Hours Paid

Looking for a flexible way to pick up extra income while making a meaningful impact? Southern Health Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide PRN weekend nursing coverage at the Barnwell County Detention Center.

This role includes Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) medication administration along with providing nursing care to patients as needed. It is a great opportunity for a nurse who wants flexible weekend work without committing to a traditional full-time schedule.

• Administer prescribed MAT medications according to provider orders and company policies
• Provide nursing assessments and patient care as needed
• Respond to patient healthcare needs and address concerns within your scope of practice
• Verify patient identity and accurately document medication administration and patient care
• Observe patients and report changes in condition, concerns, or potential adverse reactions
• Communicate with the onsite healthcare team to support continuity of care
• Follow nursing standards, facility policies, and applicable regulations
• Provide safe, compassionate care in a secure correctional healthcare setting

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in South Carolina
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong medication administration, assessment, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
• Previous correctional healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or MAT experience is helpful, but not required
