Quality Engineer

Spirax Sarco is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. If so, join us onsite in Blythewood, SC, where your expertise will ensure product quality, process consistency, and compliance with company and customer standards through data-driven analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a hands-on role, onsite five days a week, where you will support operational excellence and reinforce our commitment to safety, reliability, and innovation.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a related manufacturing role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action processes.
  • Experience with inspection methods, quality documentation, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive cross-functional problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and inspection plans to meet internal and customer requirements.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and product quality to identify risks, nonconformances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to enhance process capability and product performance.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and requirements to support quality planning and validation activities.
  • Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, reduce defects, and improve overall performance.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI), process changes, supplier quality, and validation of quality requirements.
  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to verify conformance with established standards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and quality excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, inspection processes, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
  • Proficiency with quality tools, data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications.
