Model Parts Quality Supplier Representative

Position: New Model Parts Quality Supplier Representative
Location: Timmonsville

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead supplier part development and tooling readiness throughout the new model lifecycle

+ Track supplier progress, identify risks, and resolve delays impacting production timelines

+ Review and manage quality documentation (QANs), ensuring compliance and driving corrective actions

+ Perform part inspections using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)

+ Identify quality issues and implement effective countermeasures

+ Lead New Model Reviews (NMRs) to confirm all parts are production-ready

+ Provide regular updates, analysis, and recommendations to leadership on quality status and risks

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Assembly, and Supplier teams

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

+ 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Experience working with OEM suppliers

Required Skills

+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems

+ Hands-on experience with measurement and inspection tools

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

+ Strong communication and presentation skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment & Requirements

+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally to supplier locations

+ Flexible schedule (including occasional off-shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed)

+ Onsite collaboration with suppliers and internal teams

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Timmonsville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.06/hr.
