Quality Assurance Analyst (Advanced) — Onsite, Columbia, SC
Location: Columbia, SC. Fully onsite, 5 days/week. Must be an SC resident or relocate to SC at your own expense before start.

About the roleLarge state healthcare program is adding a QA Analyst to its Systems Applications Integration and Development team. You will be the system testing specialist for enrollment and eligibility applications, including document management and workflow, and act as a technical resource on Medicaid enrollment, eligibility, and claims sub-systems.
What you'll do- Build test plans, QA and UAT processes, test cases, and scenarios from business requirements and policy documentation
- Run smoke, system integration, end-to-end, regression, negative, and usability testing
- Design and maintain automated test scripts against established automation guidelines
- Review and approve vendor unit and system integration test plans, scripts, and results
- Track defects, publish status on open issues and gaps, and walk development teams through the details
- Lead reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections against testing governance standards
- 9+ years in QA and quality control
- 9+ years turning business requirements or policy documents into test cases and scenarios, and building them into a test system
- Prior hands-on QA experience on healthcare systems, Medicaid preferred, with working knowledge of healthcare business operations
- 5+ years with Sahi Pro or Selenium automation
- Hands-on formal test design:
Equivalence Class Partitioning and Pairwise Analysis - Test design tooling such as PICT or an equivalent orthogonal array tool (Hexawise, ACTS, All Pairs, CTE)
- Working knowledge of at least one of: SPICE, TPI, TMMi, or the CMMI OPF, OPD, and PPQA process areas
- Bachelor's in a technical, business, or healthcare field, or equivalent QA experience
- Strong written and spoken English, including writing requirements and use cases
- 5+ years on large enterprise or e-business systems
- X12 standards and HIPAA EDI transactions
- Jira and Confluence
- Experience in both waterfall and Agile delivery
