Job Title:
Quality Control Final Inspector

Reports To:
Supervisor / Department Lead

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Final Inspector is responsible for examining finished textile products—such as fabrics, garments, or other textile materials to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. The inspector identifies defects, measures product dimensions, verifies labeling and packaging, and ensures only quality-approved products are released for shipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect finished fabrics, garments, or textile items for defects such as stains, holes, weaving faults, color variations, or incorrect stitching.
  • Measure and check dimensions, color shade, pattern alignment, and overall appearance against production specifications and quality standards.
  • Record and classify defects according to company inspection procedures.
  • Tag, segregate, or return defective materials for repair or reprocessing.
  • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation before final dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate inspection reports and update quality control records.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to identify recurring defects and suggest corrective actions.
  • Operate inspection machines, fabric rolling machines, and measurement tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow company safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training in textiles or quality inspection preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in textile or garment inspection.
  • Knowledge of textile types, weaving/knitting processes, and common fabric defects.
  • Familiarity with quality standards.
  • Attention to detail and good eyesight for spotting minor defects.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Physical Requirements
  • Good color vision and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • May be required to work rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
