Position Summary
The department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is looking for a candidate who can synthesize hybrid materials and organic linkers, perform conductivity measurements, spectroscopic measurements, and X‑ray diffraction analysis. The candidate should be able to analyze data, write papers, and create graphics.
Qualifications- PhD in organic chemistry with a strong background in photophysical measurements, including energy‑transfer studies, lifetime measurements, and kinetics.
- Excellent background in photophysical measurements and related analytical techniques.
- Synthesize materials and characterize them through conductivity measurements, X‑ray diffraction analysis, and spectroscopic characterization.
- Assist in supervising and training graduate and undergraduate students in their research projects.
- Prepare graphics and contribute to writing proposals and reports on funded projects.
