Position SummaryThe Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non‑alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever‑changing fast‑paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for excellent guest service, interaction with co‑workers, and uniform standards.
- Follow bar pre‑shift notes, bar menus and provide service as described.
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations.
- Know and suggestively upsell beer, wine, and spirits.
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
- Check guest verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
- Communicate a cut‑off to a guest as required.
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
- De‑escalate impaired guest situations.
- Contact management or security if a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity.
- Contact a management member if unable to resolve or make a decision beyond scope of standard decision‑making.
- Request additional product or restock as required.
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstation at all times.
- Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained.
- Other duties as assigned such as set‑up and breakdown of bar equipment and assisting with organization of the cooler.
- Current, valid Alcohol Safety training certificate issued by an approved South Carolina State vendor.
- Six months or more experience bartending.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to be self‑directed while working in a team‑oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours.
