Grocery Stocker – Rosewood Market + Deli

Columbia, SC | Full-Time & Part-Time | $13.00 / hour to start

Behind every well-organized shelf, every perfectly faced product, and every fully stocked aisle is someone who takes pride in the details. This role supports store operations by stocking, rotating, and maintaining product presentation to ensure customers can find what they need.

• Stock, rotate, and face shelves and displays to maintain a full, clean, and organized floor
• Receive and check in product deliveries, verifying accuracy and quality
• Break down cardboard and maintain a clean back stock area
• Pull product from the back room and ensure shelves are replenished before and during store hours
• Assist with price changes, shelf tags, and signage updates
• Monitor for damaged, expired, or out-of-place product and address it promptly
• Support other departments as needed during slower periods
• Communicate through company-designated platforms including Homebase and email
• Treat every customer and co-worker with courtesy and respect

• A strong work ethic and the ability to stay on task independently
• Detail-oriented — you notice when something is off and fix it without being asked
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stay on your feet for a full shift
• Comfortable with morning opening shifts as well as closing shifts (store closes at 8pm Monday–Saturday, 6pm Sunday)
• Weekend availability
• Dependable and punctual
• Prior stocking, warehouse, or retail experience preferred, but we will train the right person
• A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed

Requirements

• Experience handling grocery, retail, or perishable items preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong multitasking and people skills
• Flexible hours; weekends a must
• Must be able to periodically work in environments with temperatures below 32 degrees F
• Must communicate through company-designated platforms including Homebase and email
• Active member of the Rosewood Team with a commitment to high standards of service, quality, and presentation
• Takes initiative to help any area of the business if possible
