Parts Counterperson

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating parts accurately and promptly.
• Maintain parts inventory by verifying stock, replenishing supplies, and organizing the parts department.
• Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges while ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to track orders and resolve any discrepancies.
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Use computer systems to manage parts data and update inventory records.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts counter area to promote efficiency and safety.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in parts sales or inventory management preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with automotive parts and terminology is a plus.

• Competitive salary range of $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year, paid semi-monthly.
