Seasonal Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a Seasonal Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and support music education in our retail store. You will greet and assist customers, recommend band and orchestra instruments, accessories, and lessons, and process rentals and purchases. Responsibilities include maintaining merchandising standards, managing inventory, and supporting school service programs. You'll collaborate with instructors and teammates to deliver exceptional, student-focused service.

Ideal candidates have retail sales experience, strong product knowledge or musical background, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide consultative sales support for instruments, accessories, and lessons
• Process rentals, purchases, returns, and lesson enrollments accurately at the POSMaintain merchandising standards, product displays, and store cleanliness
• Support inventory control through stock checks, tagging, and restocking
• Assist with school service programs and educator-focused events or promotions
• Educate customers on instrument options, care, and repair and rental programs
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales and service goals
• Collaborate with instructors and store team to ensure a student-focused experience
• Handle basic customer issues and escalate complex concerns to management
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods
