Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

IGA Southeast is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations of a neighborhood supermarket. This role oversees front-end, grocery, and fresh departments, ensuring excellent customer service, fresh, well stocked shelves, and a clean, safe store. The Store Manager hires, trains, and schedules team members, drives sales and shrink control, and manages merchandising, inventory, and cash handling. The position also maintains compliance with food safety and company standards, analyzes store performance, and leads community-focused events, fostering a friendly, family-oriented culture that treats customers like neighbors.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily supermarket operations across all departments
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve escalated issues
• Hire, train, coach, and schedule store staff
• Manage merchandising, inventory levels, and ordering
• Oversee cash handling, tills, and loss prevention
• Monitor sales, margins, and shrink to hit store targets
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment
• Coordinate local marketing and community engagement activities
