Inside Sales Representative

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Charleston, South Carolina. The role is an inside sales position supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of construction and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer equipment needs, negotiate and place orders.
• Provide professional customer service via telephone and in-person interactions.
• Perform administrative duties to support the sales process.
• Work with a team to achieve customer satisfaction and sales goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Familiarity with construction/industrial tools and equipment.
• Previous equipment rental industry experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and telephone skills.
• Solid computer and administrative skills.
• Completion of DOT Qualification process preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations.

Physical Demands

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more; work indoors/outdoors as required.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $21.38 - $25.38 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
