Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to serve the Columbia, MD territory, including Annapolis, MD. The role is part of our Innovative Medicine and Med Tech organization, supporting the commercial team for Intra‑Cellular Therapies.

- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and mental health community centers both in‑person and virtually, following compliance guidelines.
- Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant manner.
- Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and share such information with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region; identify and select programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.
- Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives, capitalizing on formulary approvals and other opportunities.
- Work with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and share best practices.
- Accountable for timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
- Build a business plan based on the depth and breadth of customer needs and available resources and products.
- Complete all company‑related training within the required timelines.

- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in healthcare or business‑to‑business sales, or transition from active‑duty military.
- Three or more years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Experience in launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.
- Strong desire to improve patient and caregiver lives; patient‑centric mindset.
- High integrity and adherence to company compliance policies.
- Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, with strong decision‑making, teamwork and cross‑functional skills.
- Track record of adapting to evolving environments (e.g., COVID‑19) and overcoming obstacles.
- Agility to adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment.
- Analytical ability to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
- Flexible work hours may include meetings outside normal hours.
- Overnight travel may be required depending on geography.
- Some domestic travel to headquarters, training, and sales meetings will be required periodically.

CompensationAnticipated base pay range: $79,000 – $155,000.
